Banca Transilvania and the Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee, partnership to support the Romanian athletes at the Olympic Games

Banca Transilvania (BT) and the Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee (COSR) signed today, at the Olympic House in Bucharest, a partnership through which BT became an Official Partner - the Official Bank of the Olympic Team - “Team Romania”.
The partnership aims to support the performance of the Romanian athletes participating in the Olympic Games and other competitions held under the sign of the Olympic rings. The partnership will run for three years.
“It is, above all, a partnership for Romania, for Romanian sports, for the visibility and honor of Romania in the world, that is why we are honored by this association. Our athletes are role models for people, but also ambassadors of our country in the world. We congratulate them and we are happy to be with them. Banca Transilvania’s contribution goes beyond the financial dimension through joint projects, intended for sports education and encouragement of sports’ performance“, states Omer Tetik, Chief Executive Officer, Banca Transilvania.

Beside the representatives of the Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee and Banca Transilvania, the event was also attended by the Olympic medalists.
