- Out of the almost 51,500 companies enrolled in the microgrants program, Measure 1 and 2, almost 31,250 chose Banca Transilvania.
- BT transfers the money from the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Business Environment to the eligible entrepreneur in maximum 7 days period.
- The bank informs the entrepreneurs in real time about each stage of the program.
Banca Transilvania will make the first payments by the end of this week for micro-enterprises, PFAs and NGOs that have chosen BT as a partner bank in the government's Non-Reimbursable Working Capital Grants program. The bank has allocated resources to ensure the rapid development of the program, and the money to reach eligible entrepreneurs as soon as possible. Over 60% of the registered companies chose Banca Transilvania in this program.
During this period, the bank contacts the beneficiary companies for the opening of an account and / or the activation of the BT products and services, so as to ensure that the grants are carried out at low costs and – mostly - the required formalities are performed online. Banca Transilvania transfers to the eligible entrepreneurs the funds from the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Business Environment in maximum 7 days, and all transactions in / from the BT grant sub-account are free of charge. For companies that choose to benefit from grants on Measure 3, up to 200,000 euros for investments, BT is ready to offer bridge loans and, as the case may be, loans for co-financing.
The companies and PFAs that do not work with BT - but have a sole shareholder - can open a current account online, through NEO Cont. BT customers who do not have online banking will automatically receive BT24. The bank automatically opens the grant sub-accounts to BT clients after receiving the list of beneficiaries from the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Business Environment.
Entrepreneurs have a chatbot, Raul de la BT, through which they can find out non-stop information about the grant program, through Facebook Messenger, Skype and on WhatsApp (by adding in the contact list the phone number 0757 080 006). The bank has also prepared a section on its website dedicated to this program, which includes useful information for customers, such as the Guide to Microfinances and the Guide to the Working Capital Grant.
The program is initiated by the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Business Environment and is intended to support the companies and the economy. The entrepreneurs with businesses affected by the context generated by the pandemic can benefit from funding between 2,000 and 200,000 euros through the Competitiveness Operational Program 2014 - 2020. The program has three funding schemes: microgrants, working capital grants for SMEs and investment grants for SMEs.
