  • For the bank, it is a new opportunity to contribute to the sustainable development of education and society.

Banca Transilvania supports education through Skills & Education, the only lending program with external guarantee from the European Investment Fund (EIF), intended for business in the field of education. Kindergartens, schools, universities and companies that invest in the employees’ training can obtain funding.

The loans are up to 2 million EUR or 9.7 million RON / client, for a lending period between 1 and 8 years. 80% of the loan is guaranteed by the European Investment Fund.

The institution or company applying for funding through the Skills & Education program must be registered and have business activity in Romania. It is also required to have a team of maximum 500 employees and no budget debts. Details about financing are  available online, at any of the bank's offices or by calling the Contact Center & Customer Care team, at the phone number 0264 308 028 / *8028.

"We need technology, resources and training to meet the challenges of education. By supporting investments in new skills of the employees from companies and institutions, this program is a new opportunity for Banca Transilvania to contribute to the sustainable development of education and society", states Leonard Cornoiu, European Projects Manager, Banca Transilvania.

The first step taken by Banca Transilvania Financial Group in this direction, this year, was in February, with the launch, through BT Mic, of the Education Credit. It is intended to support private schools and kindergartens that need funding, meaning access, in just a few days, to amounts of up to 200,000 RON, with a guarantee also from the European Investment Fund.
