George Călinescu
George Călinescu has over 25 years of experience in banking and audit. He joined Transilvania Bank in 2013 and is part of one of the youngest executive teams in the Romanian banking sector. His management style is to support the teams he leads to achieve excellence.
He is a senior member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), one of the largest professional organizations of certified accountants in the world.
In 2019, 2024 and 2025, he was awarded Best Chief Financial Officer (Chief Financial Officer) in Investor Relations at the annual gala organized by the Romanian Association for Investor Relations (ARIR).
In 2025, he was elected member of the Board of Directors of CFO Club Romania, one of the most important professional communities dedicated to financial leaders in the country.
