Transilvania Bank is a partner bank in the financing program SME Eco‑Tech, intended for SMEs with production activity, through funding aimed at green and digital transformation, with the purpose of improving their environmental footprint.

The program is run by the Ministry of Economy, Digitization, Entrepreneurship and Tourism (MEDAT), funded by Swiss funds, in partnership with partner banks.

Financing through the SME Eco-Tech program includes two components:

• Non-reimbursable grant of up to 267,240 lei (equivalent to 50,000 Swiss francs), representing a maximum of 40% of the eligible expenses of an investment project. The granting of the subsidy is conditional on obtaining a bank loan within the program, covering 60% of the amount.
  
  
• Bank credit of minimum 400,860 lei (equivalent to 75,000 Swiss francs), intended to finance 60% of the eligible expenses of the project.
  
  

Investment projects can target equipment, technologies, and solutions that contribute to energy efficiency and resource consumption reduction.

The program budget amounts to 288.8 million lei, of which 70% represents the contribution from Swiss funds, and 30% the contribution of MEDAT, ensured from the state budget. Projects will be evaluated and financed in the order of complete registration of applications.
