The EC Village camping area near Bánffy Castle (Bonțida, Cluj) continues to evolve. The most recent afforestation action, organized on March 28, 2026, by Transilvania Bank and Electric Castle (EC), brought together 160 volunteers who planted approximately 2,500 seedlings, contributing to the natural regeneration of the place which, during EC, becomes the largest festival camping in Romania.

The action is part of the initiative started in 2023, which aims to plant 10,000 trees. Since then, approximately 7,500 seedlings have been planted. The program aims to generate a positive impact beyond the festival - both for the local community and for the thousands of participants at Electric Castle.

Electric Castle is the place where music and nature meet, and environmental responsibility is part of the festival experience. EC 2026 will take place from July 16 – 19, and Banca Transilvania is once again one of the partners of the phenomenon event, continuing to support projects with real impact in the community.
