Banca Transilvania will have its own technology company, Code Crafters, through which it increases its capacity for developing IT solutions.

The company's activity begins in April this year, with a team made up of people with solid experience both in technology and outsourcing companies, as well as in banking. The structure of Code Crafters is similar to profile companies, centered on small, autonomous teams passionate about technology and innovation.

”At Banca Transilvania, we invest massively in technology, we have advanced a lot from one year to another, but we are rather used to buying technology than making it ourselves. With Code Crafters, we are taking a big step in the direction of producing the solutions we need ourselves, but also in terms of mindset, organization, and digital culture”, declares Ömer Tetik, General Director, Transilvania Bank.

Technology helps the bank increase productivity, operational efficiency and online security, as well as innovate for customers who want to do banking quickly, from anywhere and anytime.
