Transilvania Bank (BT) and National Museum of Art of Romania (MNAR) launches a partnership that will bring art closer to people.
The partnership, carried out in the period 2026 – 2027, is a national project, which will contribute to the development of the urban cultural ecosystem through initiatives and experiences that bring people together. BT's involvement, through a significant investment, will amplify the visibility of MNAR's initiatives - an institution with national and international prestige and impact.
The National Museum of Art of Romania, which operates in the former Royal Palace and in four other palaces and buildings in Bucharest, is one of the most well-known cultural institutions in the country, with over 200,000 visitors/year and a heritage valued at over 1.3 billion lei.
A new exhibition season
MNAR and BT invite the public to two event exhibitions, starting from June 12, 2026:

The exhibition includes pieces from different eras - Neolithic and ancient statues, painting, sculpture, manuscripts, cult objects, fabrics, embroideries, icons, and graphics – and is curated by Erwin Kessler, Emanuela Cernea, and Mălina Conțu.
- Brâncuși. Syndrome (12 June – 25 October 2026): an exhibition dedicated to the influence of Constantin Brâncuși in modern and contemporary art, organized on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the artist's birth. It is curated by Judit Balint and Erwin Kessler.
