The Transilvania Bank Group adheres to the Diversity Charter in Romania

Group Banca Transilvania adheres to Diversity Charter and becomes the signatory in the financial – banking industry with the most employees in Romania.

Adherence means for BT the public commitment to align with European principles regarding diversity, equal opportunities and inclusion, with impact among the over 11,600 employees in its companies in Romania: Transilvania Bank, BT Asset Management, BT Capital Partners, BT Code Crafters, BT Direct, BT Leasing, BT Small, BT Pensions, ICC, Idea::Insurance Broker, Idea::Leasing and Salt Bank. Besides internal policies and own ESG (Environmental, Social, Corporate Governance) objectives, the Diversity Charter helps the Banca Transilvania Group to be part of an international ecosystem, European Platform of Diversity Charters, which facilitates access to resources and best practices in diversity management.

Diversity leadership is a strategic advantage if it is reflected in a company's managerial style. Managers can be catalysts for inclusive thinking, which results in inclusive behavior and an organizational culture where differences among employees are respected and valued. Diversity is the goal, and inclusion is the means, declares Ӧmer Tetik, General Director, Transilvania Bank.

We welcome the decision of the Transilvania Bank Group to join the Diversity Charter platform, a unique project in Romania that aims to motivate the signatory organizations to recognize and expand the benefits of integrating diversity into organizational and human resources practices. Our signatories will appreciate the exchange of good practices and the opinions of BT specialists, affirms Dana Oancea, Co-founder and Project Manager of the Diversity Charter in Romania.
