An ETF for Romania: The Transilvania Bank Group enters the ETF market by launching the BT Index Romania ETF BET-TR fund
Financial Group Banca Transilvania enters the exchange-traded funds market through the launch of BT Index Romania ETF BET-TR, administered by BT Asset Management SAI, the market leader in asset management in terms of assets under management and number of investors.
The ETF (Exchange Traded Fund) debuts today on the regulated market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE), a moment marked by the official opening of the trading session by representatives of the exchange and other institutions, as well as of the Transilvania Bank Financial Group.
- The commercial name of the fund is BT Romania ETF.
- The symbol under which it is traded on the stock exchange is BTBETRETF.
The ETF, listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, tracks the performance of BET-TR (Bucharest Exchange Trading - Total Return), the reference index of the BVB, which includes the most liquid companies listed on the BVB and, at the same time, integrates all relevant corporate events, such as dividend reinvestment, granting of free shares, and capital increases.

Transilvania Bank, the longest-standing issuer in the BET index
For nearly 30 years, Banca Transilvania has been one of the pillars of the capital market in Romania, being the first bank listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (1997) and the longest-standing issuer in BET index (2000). BT is also part of other indices relevant for the capital market in Romania, such as BET-XT, BET-BK, BET-EF, BETPlus, and ROTX.
