BT Payreplaces the trip to the bank for people who want to become clients of Banca Transilvania. Through this application, opening a current account can be done anytime, in a few minutes. New clients have immediate access to all the functionalities of the application and receive instantly, in the application, the digital debit card and, subsequently, the physical card, at one of the bank's agencies or at the desired address. The card can be funded either by IBAN transfer or by a card from another bank, added in BT Pay.

To become a retail client of Transilvania Bank, you can now do it directly through BT Pay. This is one of the most awaited features of our super-app, which turns onboarding into a 100% online experience, 24/7. With everything we have built so far in the BT Pay ecosystem, clients find on their phone what they need to do banking, as well as answers to solving some complementary needs. Recently, other BT Pay functionalities have also been launched, which increase access to online banking services: opening a savings account, making deposits, and payments in foreign currency.

Opening a savings account/creating a deposit

• A savings account or a deposit can be opened through BT Pay.
• These, as well as Round-Up, can be grouped into a single category in the application, for easier management of savings.

Currency payment

• Persons who want to make a payment or a transfer in foreign currency, including instant payment in euros, can do so directly from BT Pay, if the account in the respective currency, opened at Banca Transilvania, is added in the application.
• Clients who only have an account in lei can open an account in any currency from the Accounts option in the application.
