Transilvania Bank has climbed to second place, from the third position, in the ranking of the most valuable Romanian brands, following the increase in brand value to 876 million euros. The evaluation Brand Finance Romania 50 2026 was carried out by Brand Finance, a leader in brand valuation, headquartered in the United Kingdom.
Performance is doubled by top European recognition: BT is the strongest Romanian brand, but also the strongest banking brand in Europe in 2026, with a Brand Strength Index (BSI) score of 92.9 out of 100 and an elite AAA+ brand rating, according to Brand Finance Banking 500 2026, published in march 2026.
What do these results mean
- Brand value refers to the net economic benefit that licensing the brand on the open market would generate. It is an indicator of the commercial contribution of the brand to the overall performance of the company.
- Brand Power measures the solidity, trust, and differentiation of the brand in relation to competitors, based on indicators such as reputation, loyalty, and public perception.
We are proud to be a Romanian brand and to represent Romania in the world. The results speak, above all, about the relationships that we, as a brand, build. A brand truly becomes strong when it simplifies choices, when it is appreciated and, above all, desired. Relevance appears when it is no longer just an option, but a constant presence in everyday life. And for Banca Transilvania, relevance means being part of people's plans and ambitions, giving them the courage to open new paths.
