BT Capital Partners (BTCP), the largest intermediary on the capital market in Romania, recorded, starting from April 2026, a record number of new investors, over 15,000.

Of the 15,000 newly opened trading accounts at BT Capital Partners, 90% were opened through BT Pay, the application tripling the number of accounts opened monthly at BTCP.

The increase was driven by the launch of the option to open a BT Capital Partners trading account in the BT Pay application, as well as the launch BT Romania ETF, investment fund listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange. Most new investors are Private and Premium Banking clients of Banca Transilvania, from Cluj-Napoca, Bucharest, Constanța, Iași and Timișoara.

Extending the customer base contributed to BT Capital Partners' net assets exceeding 37 billion lei (over 7 billion euros).
