Campaign for Banca Transilvania customers who make payments with Mastercard

Transilvania Bank and Mastercardlaunch the campaign BT x Mastercard take you to the Pirelli Gran Premio D’Italia 2025 alongside the McLaren Formula 1 Team for cardholders who make payments with one of the BT Mastercard cards (Star Forte, Mastercard Mondo, Mastercard Gold, Mastercard Direct, Mastercard Omnipass and Mastercard Business) totaling at least 500 lei, in the period June 5 – July 31, 2025.

The prizes consist of experiences at the Pirelli 2025 Italian Grand Prix (5–7 September), namely the opportunity to take a circuit tour alongside a professional racing driver, at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, before the mentioned competition. The winners will be selected by lottery, scheduled for 8 August 2025.

Every fan dreams of experiencing the circuit, and now every BT customer who uses Mastercard cards has this opportunity. The prizes offered by the campaign mean equally impressive experiences – the chance to be in a McLaren car and feel the energy of the circuit on site. We are happy to launch this campaign, after just a few days ago, also thanks to Mastercard, we announced the partnership with McLaren. For the month of July, we are preparing another surprise together.

Thanks to Mastercard, Transilvania Bank has become Official Race Partner to the McLaren Formula 1 Team at the Lenovo 2025 Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix, which will take place in Budapest, on August 2 and 3, 2025. McLaren drivers, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, will carry the BT and Mastercard logos on the helmet, on the steering wheel and on the McLaren MCL39 single-seater. Piastri and Norris are currently ranked first and second in the Formula 1 Drivers' standings, and the McLaren Formula 1 Team is the current leader of the Formula 1 Constructors' Championship.

Banca Transilvania is the leader of the card market in Romania, with 7.5 million cards issued. Of these, almost 70% are also in digital format.
