Banca Transilvania is a partner bank in the EU-funded grant programme for entrepreneurs and is ready to ensure its swift rollout. The programme — initiated by the Ministry of Economy, Energy and the Business Environment — is aimed at supporting businesses and the economy. Entrepreneurs whose businesses have been affected by the pandemic can obtain funding between 2,000 and 200,000 euros through the Competitiveness Operational Programme 2014–2020.

The programme comprises three funding schemes: microgrants, working capital grants for SMEs and investment grants for SMEs. For companies choosing the third option, with investments of up to 200,000 euros, Banca Transilvania is also prepared to extend bridge loans, drawing on the positive experience it had with another programme it took part in, Start-Up Nation.
