BT Update (26 June, 23:57): The BT team has completed the scheduled system updates. Cards are working and everything is within normal parameters.

BT cards will not work on 26 June, between 23:30 – 24:00, due to updates to the card system.

As a result, for approximately 30 minutes, cards will not be available for transactions at merchants, at BT or other banks’ ATMs, or for online payments.

BT’s recommendations for customers are as follows:

• ensure you have some cash available
• make card transactions outside the time window mentioned
