Bancpost customers eligible for the conversion offer for those who hold Swiss franc (CHF) loans secured by real estate and who have not been contacted because their information in the Bancpost database is not up to date can call the Call Center team to arrange a meeting to go over the offer details:

The campaign started on July 2 this year, runs for a limited time, and will not be relaunched after it ends.

Offer details:

• It is intended for Bancpost customers who have CHF loans secured by real estate and who wish to convert into RON or EUR.
• The reduction is 18%, applied to the current outstanding balance, from which any overdue payment obligations and any amounts calculated as owed by the customer but not yet due will be deducted.
• The CHF/RON or CHF/EUR conversion will be carried out at the BNR exchange rate on the date the documentation is signed before a notary.

• After the offer is presented, customers have at least 15 days to decide whether to accept it. The appointment for the actual signing of the documents is made after the offer is accepted.
• At the same time as the conversion, under the same contract notarized before a notary, the lender will be changed from Bancpost to Banca Transilvania.

Bancpost and Banca Transilvania are working together to find solutions for Bancpost customers with CHF loans, with a view to a positive, long-term collaboration.
