Banca Transilvania has so far contributed EUR 1 million to support hospitals, doctors, frontline workers and Romanians nationwide in the fight against COVID-19.

25 mechanical ventilators, COVID-19 testing equipment and supplies – masks, gloves, coveralls and disinfectants – have reached more than 30 county and frontline hospitals in 25 locations across the country. On the bank’s website, in newsroom/Fighting COVID-19, information about the bank’s involvement is updated in real time and transparently.

In certain donation initiatives, Banca Transilvania works with partners such as Asociatia Daruieste Viata and Beard Brothers. BT is also one of the initiators of the Doneaza pentru linia intai platform, together with other Romanian companies, eMAG, Mobexpert and Bitdefender. The platform was launched to rally Romanians in supporting doctors, medical staff, the police, the army and the gendarmerie.  

In this race against time, when the numbers represent people, BT has been and remains alongside Romanians, wherever it is needed.
