How do we get through this crisis together? We set out to find answers to one of the toughest questions of the moment at the online conference for Romanian entrepreneurs, organised by Ziarul Financiar and Banca Transilvania on April 14.

Nearly 20 guests spoke about reinvention, the challenges they face and the solutions found so far to keep moving forward — about how to restart business, the economy, Romania. Together with ZF and BT were companies such as Taparo, Scandia Food, Transavia, eMAG, Profi, International Alexander, Constructii Erbasu, Ivatherm, Neuroaxis, the Carturesti bookstores and Impetum Group, as well as representatives of the BNR, KPMG and Stratulat Albulescu.

Banca Transilvania’s messages were as follows:

• Omer Tetik, CEO: Romania has a strong chance to relaunch and reset, because this could be an opportunity for public growth and investment in healthcare, for example. And we, BT, want to be part of the build, part of the solution. Now we need to sit down at the table and cooperate — all of us: the business community, Romanians, the banks, the public administration and the BNR.
• Tiberiu Moisa, Deputy CEO MidCorporate & SME: From an ecosystem perspective, we care about how companies deal with each other and how we, the banks, influence those behaviours. In trying to survive — especially in times like these — every company needs to do things that do not disturb or harm others.
