Banca Transilvania, Mobexpert, Bitdefender and eMAG are launching the Donate for the Front Line platform to support doctors and healthcare staff, as well as the police, the Army and the Gendarmerie, who are making extraordinary efforts these days in the fight for life against the COVID-19 pandemic, and are calling on everyone who can to join them. Together, the four companies have donated RON 4 million to date and have been involved in procurement, distribution and organizing the donations platform.

To date, more than 40 million masks, gloves and coveralls have been contracted, along with more than 2 million FFP2 masks. The supplies are arriving weekly by charter cargo flights, including Tarom aircraft converted for cargo. The list of required products is compiled weekly by the Department for Emergency Situations in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, and distribution is based on these needs to those on the front line: hospitals, DSP, Ambulance, SMURD, the Army, the Police and the Gendarmerie.

This is also where all information will be consolidated on amounts donated, the products and beneficiaries they were distributed to, and product details — price and quantity. The goal is to raise monthly donations of RON 50 million.

We have now joined forces with other entrepreneurs to source abroad and distribute protective equipment to those who need it so much — those first on the front lines now: medical staff, the police, the Gendarmerie and the Army.
