BT is supporting the 11th edition of the Gopo Awards, the annual event that recognizes achievement in Romanian cinema. The event will take place on Tuesday, March 21, at the Ion Luca Caragiale National Theatre in Bucharest, and the gala will be hosted by actor Alexandru Bogdan.

The awards presented at the Gopo Awards Gala are decided by a vote of 400 professionals from the Romanian film industry.

This year, among the actors who will take the stage to present the awards are Victor Rebengiuc, Dana Dogaru, Marian Râlea, Diana Cavallioti, Ana Ularu, Raluca Aprodu and Tudor Istodor.

At the event, awards will be presented for Best Film and Best Director, as well as the Lifetime Achievement Award — presented to actor Ion Dichiseanu — and the Gopo Award for Lifetime Achievement — awarded to actor Valentin Uritescu.
