Contactless cash? Yes — starting today it’s possible, only at BT, the first bank to enable contactless cash withdrawals at the ATM. How? With your phone, using BT Pay or Apple Pay.

How can you withdraw cash contactless? It’s really simple ツ

• Hold your phone with BT Pay or Apple Pay near the ATM
• authenticate yourself
• then follow the usual steps for a cash withdrawal

Contactless access at the ATM keeps all the features you’re used to, except for card activation and setting or changing your PIN.

This option is currently available at over 500 BT ATMs, and towards the end of the year we’ll cover the vast majority of the ATM network.

And that’s not all: you can also withdraw cash contactless at the ATM using accessories from the BT Pay collection, as well as Fitbit and Garmin smartwatches with Pay. And if you have your BT card with you and want to get cash, you no longer need to insert it into the ATM — just tap it on the familiar contactless symbol.
