With zamBT and dreams in our pockets, we’ll be at the Career Fair in Cluj-Napoca. See you on October 24 and 25!
You’re at university or doing a master’s and classes have just started up again. It’s October, so your schedule is more or less back to normal, with your first lectures and meet-ups with friends. But you want something more: to already be standing on your own two feet, just as you learned at home when you decided to study in Cluj. Maybe you’re from Cluj and the decision was easier, or maybe you came to Cluj, visas in your pocket, to study.
Or maybe you’ve just finished your degree or your master’s, and it’s that moment when … yes, you want to make it on your own too. Still with dreams in your pocket.
What are you doing on 24 or 25 October?
Bring your dream along and say “present” at Targul de Cariere, at the Sala Polivalenta in Cluj, on Tuesday or Wednesday, 24 October (10:00–19:00) or 25 October (10:00–16:00), whenever suits you. Come to the BT Corner!
We’ve done our homework: we’ve prepared details about the entry-level roles we have in Cluj and about the internship programme coming up, BT Journey. And also about the 360° benefits you can have if you become part of our team.
Banking with zamBT
Here are a few examples of entry-level roles we have at the bank, which we’ll be happy to tell you more about at Targul de Cariere: account administrator, customer relations officer, junior auditor or junior business analyst. We’re a good fit if you feel well prepared (in every way :)), you’re open to new things, a team player and perseverant, results-oriented, with analytical and synthesis skills and a strong work ethic. You’ll definitely catch our eye if you’re excited about the idea of working at BT and if you have a passion for banking :).
BT Journey, an internship with zamBT
If the idea of an internship appeals more, you’re in your final year, doing a master’s or you’re a recent graduate, BT Journey is a good option. We’ll tell you more about it at Targul de Cariere. It’s a plus (from us :)) if you’re already involved in different activities, such as student organisations or volunteering.
Here’s a bit about BT Journey, the internship programme we’re running this autumn, likely in November. It means one month at our bank, about 4 hours a day, with both “classroom” time and hands-on experience in our agencies and branches or at Head Office. It depends on your major and what you’re aiming for. It’s also a chance to meet our colleagues — including people in senior management — and hear directly from them what banking is and what it’s like to work at Banca Transilvania. And some extra encouragement: of the 20 participants who joined BT Journey in May this year, almost 70% are now our colleagues.
We’ll be waiting for you at the BT Corner at Targul de Cariere!
Coming to Targul de Cariere, you’ll meet two of our colleagues, Dorada Gliga and Andra Cocioc. Dorada has been with BT for 11 years, three of which were in the Human Resources team. With a background in Management and HR, she believes every meeting with someone who wants to join BT is a learning opportunity. She enjoys both communicating and listening. In her view, to succeed in your career you need passion, patience and perseverance. Andra began her “journey” at BT a year ago, by taking part in the BT Journey internship programme, which led to the opportunity to work in the bank’s HR team. She specialised in the Economics of Commerce, Tourism and Services and, as she tells us, she always arrives at and leaves the bank with zamBT.
Let us tell you a few words about the BT team because, before anything else, Banca Transilvania is about people. There are over 7,000 of us on the team. Both young and experienced, as the average age is 34. For around 1,600 colleagues, our bank is their first job. Would you like to be colleagues — what do you think?
We’ve thought of everything :): how to keep in touch online
If you can’t make it to Targul de Cariere, it doesn’t mean this just isn’t your lucky time. We know — because we were students once too :) — classes, rain outside, a long weekend somewhere, especially if you’re not from Cluj. Plus you promised yourself you’d go to every class this year. Here are a few ideas for keeping in touch with us:
- Depending on what you’re interested in — a job or an internship — you can send us your CV here: cariere@btrl.ro, respectively internship@btrl.ro. Tell your friends, too!
- A good idea is to take a look at our website, on the Careers page.
- Another easy option is to follow us on LinkedIn and on Facebook, because this is where we mostly post information you might be interested in. We’re also on Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest :).
If you want to be part of our story, come to BT! With courage, with zamBT, with dreams in your pocket. That’s how we started too.
