BT Pay and BT Go They gradually replace BT24 and NeoBT, becoming the only applications through which individual and corporate clients will do banking with Banca Transilvania. The migration is carried out in stages, starting this month and will end in October 2025.
For Banca Transilvania, migration means concentrating services into two super-apps that constantly come with new features, and for users, simplified banking experiences.
BT communication with clients, in the context of migration
Users will receive from Banca Transilvania – via email, SMS or through the applications – information about the transition to BT Pay and BT Go.
Recommendations for clients, for the safety of money:
- Critical analysis of received messages regardless of the channel, with reference to migration and the bank's applications.
- Communications that appear to be from BT – via email, phone, SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram, social media etc. – must be verified if they raise suspicions. For these cases/to report a fraud, the BT contact details are as follows: 0264 308 055, contact@btrl.ro.
- BT does not request personal data or access details to banking applications through any communication channel.
- The bank does not request customers to install applications by urging them to access links.
- Consultation, on the Transilvania Bank website, of information about security in BT applications, online safety and migration.
The significant increase in the number of BT Pay and BT Go users has contributed to accelerating the digitalization rate of Banca Transilvania's customers, which has exceeded 90%, as well as to changing certain behaviors in the relationship with money and the bank – from contactless payment with the phone, opening of current accounts, generation of cards 100% online to the issuance of invoices by entrepreneurs.
