BT Direct – part of the Banca Transilvania Financial Group – and ERB Retail Services – a company acquired by BT together with Bancpost in April this year – are well into their integration. The two non-bank financial institutions focused on consumer lending will merge in the first part of 2019.

The main objective for the new BT Direct is to become the consumer finance provider of choice for Romanians by offering modern, high‑quality services, convenient financing solutions for customers and long-lasting partnerships.

With a portfolio of 250,000 EuroLine credit cards, ERB Retail Services currently has a market share of 8.7% and 1,200 partner stores.

The integration is well under way and is progressing on several fronts — legal, products & services, and human resources — with the involvement of teams from BT Direct and ERB Retail Services. Among the priorities to date has been the unification of the sales teams of the two subsidiaries, which now include more than 100 people with shared responsibilities and activities, in line with the main objective set for the new BT Direct.
