Dear Bancpost customers, we know you would have liked WIZZ Bancpost to continue its journey at Banca Transilvania. So would we. Who wouldn’t want to have a card that’s already appreciated in the portfolio? We tried, but unfortunately this isn’t possible because Banca Transilvania already has a travel card, BT Flying Blue, launched in partnership with international brands a few years ago. That partnership also entails exclusivities to which BT has committed, and we want to honor them out of respect for our partners and for the large number of customers who use BT Flying Blue for travel and shopping.

The card BT has prepared to replace WIZZ Bancpost is the STAR Forte credit card, which will keep through the end of next year the main benefits of the WIZZ Bancpost card for Bancpost customers who will have the BT STAR Forte card:

• Points earned with the card up to year‑end can be used until the end of next year.
• The WIZZ Discount Club membership remains valid through December 2019, inclusive.

In addition, the BT STAR Forte card offers the following advantages over the Wizzair Bancpost card:

• Lower interest rate
• A grace period that also applies to cash withdrawals
• Loyalty points of up to 10% of the transaction amount, which can be redeemed later for purchases
• Shopping in installments (up to 18 installments) at over 12,000 STAR partners nationwide, across a wide range of sectors, including travel (www.starbt.ro).

The WIZZ Bancpost card will operate under the current terms until the end of this year and can be used up to and including January 1, 2019, and STAR Forte from January 3, 2019.
