Unique? Yes — the fee for money transfers from BT to Victoriabank!
Someone might need your help. Or maybe you want to send a gift to someone who isn’t exactly nearby. Or you’re an entrepreneur and need to make a payment from Romania to the Republic of Moldova. If you’re a Banca Transilvania or Victoriabank customer – Victoriabank is part of the BT Group – we’ll help your money transfers go through as quickly as possible. A single fee, depending on the amount: 10 lei or 10 euro.
As simple as it gets
At BT, we’ve made transfers from BT to Victoriabank simpler in euro, lei, US dollars, pounds sterling and Swiss francs. In other words, you know exactly what you pay and can plan your money accordingly. Both the sender and the recipient need to have an account with Banca Transilvania or Victoriabank.
For example, for a transfer of 3,000 euro from BT (at the branch) to Victoriabank, from an individual account, you pay 5 euro instead of 20 euro.
Are you a BT customer as an individual or a company? Here are a few useful details:
For individuals:
- 10 lei/transfer for transfers in lei via NeoBT (Internet and Mobile Banking) or by visiting any BT branch or agency;
- 5 euro/transfer for amounts up to and including 5,000 euro, and 10 euro/transfer for amounts over 5,000 euro (or the equivalent in any of the currencies listed) for foreign currency transfers (euro, US dollars, pounds sterling and Swiss francs) via NeoBT (Internet and Mobile Banking) or at the branch.
For companies:
- 10 lei/transfer for transfers in lei via NeoBT (Internet and Mobile Banking) or by visiting any BT branch or agency;
- 10 euro/transfer regardless of the amount (or the equivalent in any of the currencies listed) for foreign currency transfers (euro, US dollars, pounds sterling and Swiss francs) via NeoBT (Internet and Mobile Banking) or at any BT branch or agency. Good to know: for foreign currency transfers made at BT units to other banks in the Republic of Moldova, the fee is 0.2% (minimum 20 euro, maximum 800 euro, SWIFT included).
- Recommendation: for entrepreneurs, the BT packages First Year Free or one of the NELIMITAT options with interbank transactions included are useful, and they include online foreign currency payments. For example, for NELIMITAT All Inclusiv the subscription is 129 lei/month; this covers as many payments and collections as you need, including foreign currency payments to your partners. You only pay any third‑party fees (such as BNR, Transfond, correspondent bank) on top.
