250,000 people who use BT Pay are saving through the app’s Round Up option. 8 out of 10 people with savings accounts at Banca Transilvania also use Round Up.

With over 12,000 customers activating Round Up every month, it is one of the most used BT Pay features and means:  

• savings with every payment made at POS or online with any BT debit card, digital or physical, with interest of 4% per year;
  
  
• automatic rounding up of each payment made with a BT debit card to the selected multiple (1 leu, 5 lei or 10 lei), which can be changed at any time. For example, if the rounding threshold is 10 lei, for a 3.5 lei payment, the round-up is 6.5 lei. 
  
  
• automatic transfer of the difference from the rounded amount, from the RON current account to the Round Up savings account;
  
  
• anytime access to the money saved by transferring it to one of your current accounts at Banca Transilvania;
  
  
• the ability to check in the BT Pay app how much you have saved through Round Up and your transaction history.

Most BT customers using Round Up are aged 27–42 (37%), 18–26 (34%) and 14–17 (20%).
