The BT Pay app received the Best UX in Remote Lending award for its 100% online Overdraft feature at the Future Banking 2022 gala, organized by wall-steet.ro.

The award-winning feature lets customers obtain and access, via BT Pay, an overdraft on their debit card in about 5 minutes. The credit line is available for use on the debit card immediately after the process is completed. This gives customers a fully digital experience, from applying for the overdraft and accessing it, through to viewing the credit line details—interest, amount used, transactions—paying by phone, and adding funds to the debit card the overdraft is attached to.

Wall-Street annually recognizes the best digital products and services in financial services, taking into account functionality, impact and their contribution to a positive customer experience. This year there were nearly 50 nominations across 10 award categories.

Over 2 million people use BT Pay for everyday banking. One in two cards issued by Banca Transilvania is digital and enrolled in the app. On average, BT Pay enables 250,000 payments by phone and 100,000 money transfers every day.
