Banca Transilvania retains third place in the ranking of Romania’s most valuable brands, with a significant 34% increase on the previous year, reaching EUR 856 million.
The Brand Finance Romania 50 analysis was carried out by Brand Finance, a UK-based leader in the standardisation of brand valuation.
Brand value refers to the net economic benefit that a brand owner would obtain by licensing the brand on the open market.
The five most valuable Romanian brands in 2025 are as follows and account for more than half of the total value of those in Brand Finance Romania 50:
- Dacia
- eMAG
- Banca Transilvania
- DIGI
- Dedeman
Brands launched over the past 35 years account for more than 70% of the brands and 60% of the total value in the ranking of Romania’s most valuable brands.
Each year, Brand Finance analyses 6,000 of the world’s largest brands and publishes over one hundred reports, two examples being Brand Finance Romania 50 and Brand Finance Banking 500.
