Leontin Toderici has received approval from the National Bank of Romania to serve as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bancpost. He has been mandated by Banca Transilvania to coordinate the integration of Bancpost, ERB Retail Services IFN and ERB Leasing IFN into the BT Financial Group.

With more than 20 years’ experience in banking, Leontin Toderici has, since 2013, served as Deputy CEO – Chief Operations Officer at BT. Over the years he has led projects of strategic importance for the Banca Transilvania Financial Group, two of which were world firsts: replacing BT’s core banking system with the Oracle FLEXCUBE solution, using Exadata and Exalogic as the technical platform, and launching Western Union money transfer via ATMs. He holds a PhD in business informatics and is a graduate of the CNAM Paris – ASE Bucharest EMBA. He graduated from the Faculty of Automation and Computer Science at the Technical University, as well as the Faculty of Economic Sciences at Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca.

In April this year, Banca Transilvania acquired the 99.15% majority stake held by Eurobank Group in Bancpost, as well as the shares it held in ERB Retail Services IFN and ERB Leasing IFN.
