250,000 children and young people aged up to 18 have an account with Banca Transilvania. Over 95% of them receive regular incoming payments — child benefits, scholarships and money from family. Those aged over 14, who are eligible for a card, prefer card payments at merchants and online shopping.

• KidCONT can be opened in lei or euro, in the name of children aged up to 17, for a term of 1-18 years, depending on the child’s age.
• The minimum opening amount is 500 lei/100 euro, and the maximum is 450,000 lei/100,000 euro.
• It is a flexible product because it allows withdrawals without affecting the interest, which is calculated daily and paid annually, on the account’s anniversary date.
