The bank is offering the BT Roberto Marzanati Scholarship, worth 15,000 euros, which fully covers tuition for both years, and SIF Moldova is offering two scholarships, each worth 7,500 euros.
The competition stages are as follows:
- 26 June–12 July: Complete the competition application form available on the MBA website and send it together with the following documents to office@teecluj.ro: an English-language CV/a link to your LinkedIn profile; a letter of recommendation, in English, from a business partner or employer, including the recommender’s contact details and the letterhead of the company/institution represented;
- 13–19 July: Candidate assessment
- 20 July: The scholarship winner will be announced via the BT newsroom, on the EMBA University of Hull (Romania) website and on social media.
The Executive MBA University of Hull comprises 12 modules on the general management of a business, covering topics such as systems thinking, marketing, the international business environment, consulting and project management, accounting, human resource management, organisational behaviour, leadership, etc. The degree is international and is awarded by the University of Hull.
Online courses
For the new cohort, which will include the scholarship recipients, classes start on 30 July in Cluj-Napoca. Depending on how the pandemic evolves, the University of Hull is prepared to deliver all courses online.
In recent months, current students in the programme have attended classes exclusively online, as well as a series of webinars with international guest speakers.
Since 2015, when the Executive MBA University of Hull business school was launched in Cluj-Napoca, 100 students have graduated from the programme, and more than 30 managers and entrepreneurs are currently studying. The programme is run in Romania through the Transilvania Executive Education Association, a non-profit organisation that brings together the University of Hull, Babeș-Bolyai University and the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca. It is supported by Banca Transilvania, Electrogrup and Emerson.
Roberto Marzanati (1950 – 2016) served on BT’s Board of Directors for 15 years, starting in 2001. He was among those who believed most strongly in the bank’s success, to which he contributed his experience and know-how. In recognition of this, the scholarships offered by Banca Transilvania for EMBA programmes bear his name.
