Aurel Bernat is the new Executive Director, Financial Institutions and Investor Relations, at Banca Transilvania. He will also have the opportunity to contribute to value creation and to the continued development of the main investment companies within the Banca Transilvania Financial Group — BT Asset Management, BT Capital Partners and BT Pensii.

Until now, Aurel Bernat has served as CEO of BT Asset Management. Over the past 15 years, he has been part of the leadership team at BT Asset Management and a member of the Board of Directors of BT Pensii. He has almost 20 years of experience in investment management, investor relations and international relations — mostly within the Banca Transilvania Group.

Dan Dascăl will be the new CEO of BT Asset Management, assuming the role after receiving the necessary approvals from the authorities. He currently holds the position of Deputy CEO at the same company, which in 2022 became Romania’s largest mutual fund manager. He has 25 years of experience in the capital markets, and over his career he has coordinated key departments in leading companies active in this field. Dan Dascăl has been part of the BT Group team since 2002, when he joined BT Securities — now BT Capital Partners — as Operations Director, and he has been with BT Asset Management since 2017.
