Banca Transilvania was named Best Bank in Romania by Euromoney for its financial results achieved in 2020.

The increase in activity over the course of last year reinforced the bank’s role as a main pillar of Romania’s economic recovery in 2021. BT’s strategy to support customers was reflected in increased activity and business volumes. More than 145,000 loans were extended to support the economy; companies received financing of over RON 9.5 billion, while individuals received RON 5.3 billion.

BT previously received this title in 2020, 2017, 2016 and 2004.
