Banca Transilvania is an official sponsor of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship 2023, one of the year’s most anticipated events for football fans worldwide. The tournament takes place June 21–July 8, 2023, in Romania and Georgia. The announcement was made today by both the Romanian Football Federation and BT.

Banca Transilvania has been backing young talent since 2021, when—ahead of EURO U21 in Hungary and Slovenia—it became a partner of Romania’s Under-21 national team, which it continues to support.

Romania will host 15 matches at the final tournament: Bucharest will stage the Group B games (Romania, Spain, Ukraine and Croatia), plus a quarter-final and one semi-final; Cluj-Napoca will host the Group D games (France, Italy, Norway and Switzerland) and a quarter-final.

This is Romania’s third consecutive appearance at the finals, after 2021 and 2019.

Until May 24, the UEFA European Under-21 Championship 2023 trophy is on display at the BT Timpuri Noi Branch (B-dul Octavian Goga nr. 22, bl. M63, Bucharest, Sector 3).
