Romanian Football Federation and Banca Transilvania have signed a new agreement under which BT, as sponsor of the national team, will support Romanian football — from developing and promoting young talent and, from now on, all the way up to the highest level, the senior national team.

The new agreement runs for one year, with an option to extend. On this occasion, Banca Transilvania reaffirms its commitment to help provide the best conditions for players’ development and for delivering performance.

Răzvan Burleanu, FRF President, said: "Our partnership with Banca Transilvania is a cornerstone in building the future of Romania’s national team. Together, we are focusing our efforts on developing young talent, on proper training and on creating a solid platform to deliver results. We are grateful for Banca Transilvania’s constant support, we are convinced that through our joint effort we will continue to provide the Tricolours with the best training conditions, and we are confident that results will follow soon".

Ӧmer Tetik, CEO, Banca Transilvania, said: “We are pleased to continue our collaboration with the Romanian Football Federation and to contribute to the development of the sport Romanians love most. Above all, it is an investment in the future, for the young people who dream of becoming the next champions and representing Romania”.

Banca Transilvania supports the youth national teams U19, U18, U17, U16 and U15, and has done so since 2021, the year in which it also became a partner of the U21 team, which qualified for the European Championship (EURO 2021).
