Banca Transilvania ranks 32nd in the Most Desired Employers in Romania ranking. Among Romanian employers, BT is 2nd in the same ranking.

The study, now in its 12th edition, was carried out by Catalyst Solutions between March–May this year, with input from over 11,000 respondents nationwide — people with work experience, early-career professionals and students. It gauges how attractive companies are as employer brands, as well as the expectations of those who want to work for them.

Key findings from the study:

• Criteria people use when choosing their preferred employer: a pleasant work environment, the pay and benefits package, job security, opportunities for professional growth and training programs
• Channels candidates use to research an employer: job platforms, recommendations from friends and colleagues, and company websites
• Almost 60% prefer a job that helps them develop more professional skills through development programs

In October 2016, BT featured in a similar ranking, the Top 10 most desired employers among students, compiled by Universum Student Research and published by Ziarul Financiar. The sample covered over 10,000 students from 46 universities.

For 1,600 of the more than 7,000 people on Banca Transilvania’s team, BT is their first job.
