Banca Transilvania is adding new, free features to its payment machines: cash deposits (RON, EUR or USD) into customers’ own BT accounts and foreign exchange. The new digital options make it easier for customers to access two core banking services.

Details:

• Foreign exchange can be done in two ways:

                    -  by depositing foreign currency cash at the payment machine and converting it into another currency to be credited to the customer’s own BT account

                        -  from a BT account into another personal BT account opened in a different currency

• Thanks to the new features, the time required for key banking transactions is significantly reduced, and self-service interaction with the bank is simpler.
• Until now, the payment machines were intended exclusively for bill payments. More than 8.2 million bills were paid through them in 2016.
• Banca Transilvania has nearly 550 payment machines, installed at its branches.
• In addition to the payment machines, BT has over 70 multifunctional terminals — BT Express — which allow customers to carry out banking operations in real time.
• Banca Transilvania offers 6 alternative ways to pay bills, namely: the payment machine, BT24 Facturi, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Direct Debit and ATMs.
