● The Oportunitate loan, the newest product from the Division for Physicians ●

Banca Transilvania, through the Division for Physicians, is offering doctors the Oportunitate loan, a solution for settling tax arrears to the state budget, as well as the possibility to benefit from the tax amnesty, which exempts them from all penalties and part of the interest accrued on recorded debts.

BT’s new product is aimed at specialist physicians who are sole proprietors (PFA), represent medical practices or are majority shareholders in medical companies. To benefit from this facility, debts must be paid by March 31 this year.

Details about the Oportunitate loan:

• Amount: granted in RON, up to the equivalent of EUR 25,000
• Term: up to 5 years
• Down payment: 0
• Benefits: removes the risk of account garnishment; exemption from penalty charges and a reduction of interest owed to the state budget on debts recorded as of September 30, 2015

Nearly 3,500 loans granted through the Division for Physicians in 2015

Banca Transilvania’s Division for Physicians is the only banking division in Romania dedicated exclusively to doctors and has over 36,000 clients. Through DPM, the bank granted nearly 3,500 loans to the private medical sector in 2015, totalling more than RON 370 million.

DPM was launched by Banca Transilvania in 2007 to support private initiatives in healthcare.
