For the second year in a row, Banca Transilvania received the maximum score in the ARIR (Romanian Investor Relations Association) assessment of communication by companies listed on the Regulated Market.

This year’s assessment covered 15 criteria, and the entire process was audited by Mazars, one of the largest firms of its kind worldwide. Close to 80 companies were assessed between November–December 2020. The Vektor rating is displayed on the company page on the Bucharest Stock Exchange website.

BT’s contribution to the development of Romania’s capital market:

• Banca Transilvania is one of the two companies that enabled Romania’s upgrade from frontier to emerging market status, following the decision by FTSE Russell. Since 2020, Romania and its capital market have been playing in a new league, with the opportunity to stand out on other markets and to leverage their investment potential.
• The bank joined the FTSE Global Equity Index Series in 2020.
• The most recent recognitions from the Bucharest Stock Exchange, for 2019, include these awards: Most Traded Stock on the Bucharest Stock Exchange Main Market and Issuer with the Highest Increase in Liquidity.
• The bank has over 32,000 shareholders and close to 69% Romanian shareholding.
• BT is the first bank in Romania to have been listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, in 1997, and is the longest-standing issuer in the history of the BET index, having been part of it for almost 20 years.

Vektor is the first investor relations communication indicator for listed companies in Romania, calculated for the first time in 2019.
