Banca Transilvania și Mastercard lansează cardurile digitale McLaren F1 Team Mastercard Debit (în lei) și McLaren F1 Team Mastercard Debit Gold (în euro, premium), emise de BT, primele carduri din lume în parteneriat cu Echipa McLaren Formula 1. 

Conform unui studiu¹ Mastercard, 70% dintre deținătorii de carduri își doresc un card care să recompenseze plățile făcute pentru pasiunile lor. Cardurile McLaren F1 Team Mastercard, emise de BT, sunt concepute pentru a conecta deținătorii de carduri cu pasiunea lor, de fiecare dată când efectuează o plată. În funcție de tipul cardului, beneficiile includ oferte de cashback corelate cu competițiile Echipei Mclaren Formula 1, acces la business lounge-uri în România și Austria (Viena) și pe platforma priceless.com, discount-uri la cumpărături etc. (sursa 1: The Great Unlock, 2024)

Datorită parteneriatului cu Mastercard, Banca Transilvania a devenit în acest an Partener Oficial de Cursă al Echipei McLaren Formula 1 la Marele Premiu al Ungariei Formula 1 Lenovo 2025 (Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix), organizat în Budapesta, în 2 și 3 august 2025. Echipa McLaren Formula 1, formată din piloții Lando Norris și Oscar Piastri, va purta siglele BT și Mastercard pe cască, pe volan și pe monopostul MCL39.
