Banca Transilvania is the only Romanian banking brand to make the Brand Finance Banking 500, the global ranking of the world’s most valuable banking brands, compiled this year by Brand Finance – the world’s largest independent brand valuation and strategy consultancy – and published by The Banker.

This follows the 2017 Brand Finance Romania 500, which ranked BT as the most valuable Romanian banking brand.

ICBC (Industrial and Commercial Bank of China) and China Construction Bank occupy the top two positions in the Brand Finance Banking 500 ranking. The US continues to be the best represented country in the 2018 list, with 76 banks.

Every year, Brand Finance assesses the most valuable banking brands; its analysis produces the Brand Finance Banking 500 ranking, which is published by The Banker.

The Banca Transilvania brand was launched in Cluj-Napoca in 1994.
