After a period in which, since the start of the pandemic, it has contributed over EUR 2 million to hospitals in more than 30 towns and cities, Banca Transilvania continues to support the medical community. This time, BT is backing doctors’ personal plans with discounts on new loans or on loans refinanced from other banks, as well as other benefits, through the White Banking Days campaign. The campaign is aimed at doctors and resident physicians, dentists and dental technicians.

Whether it’s a new home, home improvements, shopping or planning a holiday, individual doctors can apply to BT for the products and services included in the campaign between 6 July and 30 September this year.

What White Banking Days means for doctors:

• Personal loan with life and unemployment insurance, variable interest rate: 6.91% (IRCC + 4.5%), no processing fee; personal loan with life and unemployment insurance, fixed interest rate of 8.5%, no processing fee;
• Personal loan with a fixed rate of 8.9% and no processing fee; personal loan with a variable rate of 7.41% (IRCC + 5%) and no processing fee;
• Mortgage in RON, with a 5.06% (IRCC + 2.65%) variable rate, no processing fee and no valuation fee; mortgage in EUR, with a variable rate of 3.94% (EURIBOR 6M + 4.25%), no processing fee and no valuation fee;
• Shopping card: STAR Gold, STAR Platinum, STAR Forte Medici + 150 STAR points (equivalent of RON 150), plus a bonus of 10 STAR points on the first purchase with the card at one of the STAR programme partners;
• Mastercard Gold debit card, with no issuance fee and no cash withdrawal fee at Banca Transilvania ATMs;
• BT Pay for contactless payments, money transfers and managing cards by phone. Thanks to the app, clients can access their digital card before they receive the physical one. The digital card can be used for contactless and online payments, money transfers, cash withdrawals from ATMs (contactless, using the code generated in BT Pay), checking balances and transactions, viewing the IBAN, etc.

Banca Transilvania supports over 50,000 doctor clients, both individuals and legal entities, through Divizia Pentru Medici.

Since the start of the pandemic, out of respect for doctor clients, the bank has prioritised their calls to the BT Call Center (0264 30 80 28). Over the same period, the bank launched the Jur sa fiu om campaign, bringing together the voices of Romanians in a message of thanks for doctors’ effort and dedication.

Divizia Pentru Medici, Romania’s only banking division dedicated exclusively to doctor clients, is an initiative supported by the Romanian College of Physicians. Through the www.diviziapentrumedici.ro platform, doctors have access to information on BT products, the entrepreneurial doctor’s guide, details on medical equipment, etc. The bank also has 7 branches across the country dedicated to serving doctors, and a team of over 60 people, including doctors.
