Banca Transilvania received the award Coolest Evolution by a Bank in Romania from Forbes magazine, at the Forbes 100 COOL Brands Gala, held on November 15 this year, in Bucharest.

Now in its 7th edition, the event celebrated brands, personalities and projects across industries that stood out for authenticity, innovation and originality.

Banca Transilvania was represented by Omer Tetik, CEO, who said on this occasion: “Thank you for this COOL award, which would not have been possible without a COOL team and COOL customers. The award belongs to the 10,000 employees of the BT Group.”

BT’s story began almost 25 years ago, with a team of 13 people and one branch. Today, it is the largest financial group in Romania by assets and a supporter of the Romanian economy.

In 2014, Banca Transilvania received the award Coolest Bank in Romania, also from Forbes Romania. The publication has recognized representatives of the bank over the years as well: Horia Ciorcila – Chairman of the Board of Directors and Omer Tetik – CEO received in 2017 the title Forbes Romania 100 Greatest Living Business Minds, and in 2016 the titles The Man with the Plan (Horia Ciorcila) and The Bravest CEO (Omer Tetik).
