Winners of the University of Hull Executive MBA scholarships. There were 10 candidates for each scholarship.
The recipients of the University of Hull Executive MBA scholarships have been selected: Ioana Baba (BT Roberto Marzanati Scholarship), Stefan Mesaros and Vlad Anca (scholarships offered by SIF Moldova). More than 30 people entered the competition, and the scholarship winners will start classes on 30 July this year.
The BT Roberto Marzanati Scholarship is worth 15,000 euros and covers tuition for the two years of study, while each of the two scholarships offered by SIF Moldova amounts to 7,500 euros.
Andrew Taylor, Director of Transilvania Executive Education and a member of the scholarship selection panel: “Applicants ranged from people working in NGOs and the arts to those in technology, PhD holders with significant management experience, as well as younger candidates at the start of their entrepreneurial journey. The business plans submitted and the ideas they presented are extremely interesting, and I believe we have much to learn from them. During the evaluation process, I had the feeling these candidates were here to teach us a lesson in innovation and business, and that this programme had overnight turned into a business incubator! This whole experience makes me believe there is tremendous potential and that we can do much more to support these ideas alongside the delivery of this University of Hull Executive MBA programme.”
