The historical documentary The King’s War was a success at the Astra Film Festival in Sibiu, held October 17–23 this year.

Attendees had the opportunity to learn the story of King Michael I of Romania, who changed the course of history. Combining exclusive interviews with re‑enactments, the documentary — produced by John Florescu — was filmed in Bucharest, Washington, London, Berlin and Moscow.

Astra Film Festival is a landmark event for European cinema, dedicated to documentary film and unique in Southeast Europe.
