From 20 August to 24 September this year, Google Romania, in partnership with Banca Transilvania, will host the E-Commerce Masterclass, a program that gives online store owners in Romania the opportunity to improve their digital strategy and build new digital skills.

Across six intensive training sessions, participants will work on solutions to the main challenges they face in growing online sales and developing their business in the digital space.

The program is intended for those who currently run a functional online store in the Romanian market and want to accelerate their business development using digital methods.

Over the six panels, participants will cover areas such as digital advertising, customer experience, financial planning, UX and mobile, Google Analytics, as well as marketing strategies for key retail moments like Back to School and Black Friday campaigns.

Places on the program are limited, and selection will be based on:

• having a functional online store
• the volume of orders fulfilled locally or nationwide
• the store having operated in the market for at least one year.

Two specialists from Banca Transilvania will lead a panel on the digitization of the SME sector from a financial services perspective. Participants will have the chance to learn more about the importance of financial education in the context of digital transformation and the impact of adopting technology in financial services.
