Investment funds gain ground: BT Asset Management — 450,000 investors and 10 billion lei in assets under management

BT Asset Management SAI (BTAM) has reached 450,000 investors and crossed the historic milestone of 10 billion lei in assets under management, equivalent to approximately 2 billion euros.

Nearly 40% of all transactions by BTAM clients targeted the fund that tracks the ROTX index on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, confirming the growing appetite for investments linked to the local capital market.

In 2025, almost 60% of people in Romania who took their first step into fund investing chose funds managed by BTAM. The community has grown significantly: the number of investors in BTAM funds is four times higher than in 2023.

BT Asset Management CEO: “We are contributing to an investment culture”

BT Asset Management’s momentum shows that saving through funds is gaining ground, is being strongly accelerated by technology and is changing how Romanians prepare for their financial future. We want to support this evolution and help build a stronger investment culture in Romania. The change is already visible in investor behavior: greater consistency, increased interest and more informed people.

A favorable market backdrop—marked by strong companies, many with a strategic role in energy and infrastructure—has made equity investments an increasingly attractive option.
