Banca Transilvania’s 2020 Sustainability Report received Gold Level Recognition following the Romania CST Index assessment. This is Romania’s only ranking of corporate sustainability performance and transparency, compiled by The Azores Sustainability & CSR Services. More than 750 companies were analyzed to build this index.

Romania CST Index Methodology

Romania CST Index is an analysis covering 10 categories and 70 indicators that address information on sustainability strategy and companies’ economic, environmental and social impact.

The assessment, which considers all public information from companies for 2020, is aligned with international sustainability and social responsibility standards and references such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Directive 2014/95/EU, GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards (GRI Standards), CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project), etc.

This is the second recognition the bank has received for the 2020 Sustainability Report. It was selected as one of the best sustainability reports, an award announced at the Gala of the Association for Investor Relations at the Romanian Stock Exchange.

BT’s 2021 Sustainability Report will be published in March 2022.
